Ingredients

  • 500 g RSPCA Approved Chicken Mince
  • 1 packet Tuscan Meatballs Recipe Base
  • 0.5 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 each egg
  • 1 each onion
  • 300 g pasta
  • 50 g parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine chicken mince, breadcrumbs, egg, finely chopped onion, and minced garlic. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into approximately 16 meatballs and place them on the prepared baking tray.
  4. Bake the meatballs for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
  5. While meatballs are baking, cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  6. In a large pan, heat the Tuscan Meatballs Recipe Base with 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
  7. Add the baked meatballs to the sauce, gently stirring to coat them evenly. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  8. Serve the meatballs and sauce over the cooked pasta. Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese and drizzle with the remaining olive oil before serving.
